This place has been going for around 24 years and may very well not have changed a whole lot over time. Still, I'm not saying that's a bad thing.
We tried the margherita pizza and a spinach salad I've had better pizza in my day It was alright, but nothing stellar about it.
Usually have a takeaway pizza from this venue and haven't been disappointed over several years. The premises in which the shop is located is very run down and needs a makeover (note to the owner, not Danni's). The pizzas are not the quick commercial cheese covered tasteless version but rather well covered with good quality ingredients. This results in a very tasty and good value meal. I recommend you give it a try and support local small business owners.
Danni's is a very small shop in what is a group of shops in Asquith that have a run down appearance (Amor St end). Despite the building and fairly ordinary décor, they make great pizzas and pasta and other foods that are well presented and very tasty. The prices make it a good choice for an inexpensive family night out. I recommend the $35 value meal which is two pizzas, garlic bread and a 1.25l bottle of coke. The pizza are not smothered in cheese which allows the true taste of what you ordered shine out.
