Casa Del Sole Pizza - Aspinwall

This pizza shop is fantastic! They use high quality ingredients and have been a beloved part of the community for over 30 years (possibly the oldest in Aspinwall). The local area is also lovely for a stroll. Today, I tried their plain cheese calzone and it was absolutely delicious. The size was perfect for a regular portion and the price was reasonable at $13. What really stood out was the quality of the calzone. The dough was tasty and there was a perfect balance of dough to cheese. I appreciated the generous amount of butter and parmesan on top and around the calzone. The ricotta cheese inside was creamy and of high quality. The only downside was the sauce, which was a bit watery for my taste, but that's just a personal preference. I also want to give a shoutout to the employee who took my order over the phone - they were one of the friendliest I've encountered in a long time. Very helpful and clear in answering my questions without any upselling. Overall, a great spot for pizza and definitely worth trying their calzones. Just keep in mind they don't offer any desserts.

I love the pizza here, the crust is perfect, especially the Calabrese. A must-try in Aspinwall.

The food is delicious. Easily the best pizza around. But what makes this place even better is their customer service. They are always extremely nice. Never once have I had a bad experience here. I will continue to order from them and hope others do aswell. Support local businesses!

Very good pizza. the chicken and the mushrooms were perfectly cooked. I also like the fact that they do not calculate double for premium toppings such as huh and steak. I also tried the buffalo ranch wing and they were good. we are looking forward to tasting more elements in the menu.
