Local Coffee House - ASPEN

It is disappointing that the owners have added a 22% service charge to "support livable wages" instead of directly providing their employees with a living wage in such an expensive area. They should pay their employees fairly rather than relying on customers to supplement their wages through this hefty service charge—especially since it’s a self-service coffee shop. This practice is quite disheartening. The food is decent (I particularly enjoy the yogurt bowl) and is in line with the prices in Aspen.

I just moved to Aspen and went to Local for the first time and couldn’t be more in love with a coffee shop!! The service was amazing, super friendly staff that make you feel comfortable and right at home. On top of that the food is delicious and the coffee is even better! Can’t wait to go back.Food: 5/5

Oh my gobble. This place has the most delicious quiche and coffee in all of Aspen. Plus the outdoor seating is quite amazing. I highly recommend this coffee shop and love to support a local business. Plus the staff is very friendly.Food: 5/5

Go here for a cuppa. Best espresso in aspen. I cant comment on anything else, but what else are we here for? oh yeah, brekkies are legitbring your own cup for 25% discount.expect an automatically included 22% service charge and a high level of barista blasé. it IS a coffee spot in Aspen, and cafe pretention is rampant worldwide, regardless of class or quality.

So expensive. Coffee 9$ and was tiny and burnt. Sucky place don't waste time or money.
