Las Montañas - ASPEN

This might be the best Tex-Mex I've ever experienced, and I definitely plan to return!

Wow—what an amazing restaurant! The food was incredible—my son declared it the best Mexican food he's ever tasted. He ordered the lobster fajitas, while I enjoyed the tomatillo enchiladas, which were absolutely delicious! The cocktails and service were outstanding as well. Our server, Anand, was fantastic and incredibly kind to my 7-year-old granddaughter. This place is truly exceptional for all the right reasons.

This is the best food I’ve had in Colorado. The prices are reasonable for Aspen, and it’s easy to get a table. The atmosphere is both festive and elegant. The dining room is perfect for families, while the bar offers a trendy vibe. The cuisine is high-quality, gourmet Tex-Mex, with a wonderful blend of flavors that isn’t overly salty. The drinks are fantastic, the queso is outstanding, and the fajitas are world-class. Las Montanas has become my new favorite restaurant in Aspen.

We were seated at a table where the table leaf kept dropping from the locked position, smacking the leg of a person in our party. We alerted our wait staff and they said that the table was known for doing that? They said they weren’t able to seat us at another table due to reservations. We had a 5:00 pm reservation, and felt they should have tried to accommodate us. It was very uncomfortable for our family member. The food was so so, but the servers were on top of it for keeping our water glasses filled. Probably won’t go back simply due to their inadequate response to a faulty table.
