Four things you need to know: -Food is nothing unexpected but very well executed Italian classics. Zero complaints, everything was delicious -The Sommelier was fantastic. Exemplary service and just great at his job. Kudos. -No “Aspen Attitude” when it comes to service, a problem that is all too common in this city. Everyone was warm and unpretentious. -Awesome playlist and felt age-appropriate for the clientele. But even if you’re younger you’ll dig it, it’s full of classics. Recommend!!!

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! It's been a while since I've had truly exceptional gluten-free food, and I can confidently say this was the best gluten-free pizza I've ever tasted. I was initially worried that they might have mistakenly given me a wheat crust because it was that good. Acquolina is the only place I found in Aspen (after calling numerous restaurants) that uses a rice flour blend for their gluten-free crust instead of cauliflower, which is crucial for me as I’m allergic to cauliflower. I had seen some reviews mentioning poor service before my visit, but the staff was actually very courteous and friendly. They answered all my questions about the menu and were more than willing to assist me with everything I needed. There must have been a change in staff or management. Honestly, I have nothing negative to say about Acquolina!

After reading the reviews, I had my doubts, but I believe in forming my own opinions. My family and I chose to dine at this restaurant for dinner, and we had a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were hearty. The service was outstanding as well. My only suggestion would be to switch the music to something more Italian or soothing and to dim the lighting a little. Other than that, everything was excellent!

This restaurant is one of the rare moderately priced upscale dining options still found in Aspen. We chose to sit at the bar, where the bartender provided us with quick and friendly service. Our food came out promptly and was truly delicious. It's important to mention that reservations are required even for bar seating, and there's a cancellation fee of $75 per person, which somewhat diminished the overall experience.
