Contribuiți la feedbackMy family of four along with another family of five had dinner last week at this terrific place. The menu was creative and offered something new from the local fare. The gazpacho and the fish ravioli were favorites but the entire meal was on par with several Michelin starred restaurants I’ve visited in London and Paris. The head chef/owner is attentive and friendly. We tried to go back but unfortunately missed out.
There was a festival in the square when we visited. We should have know that it wasn 't our night when, an hour before closing, we asked to move to an empty, set table, farther from the noise... and it took a manager to approve it. But the real issue was that after we ordered, we found out the gluten free gazpacho soup, as marked on the menu, was not gluten free after all. We 'd checked the menu twice before arriving. Really? We ended up leaving and paying for the drinks we had not yet received. Note to the restaurant: when a customer is leaving because of your mistake, but offers to pay for drinks they aren 't going to consume, be gracious and do not take their money. 20 euro later, we left hungry.
We were a table of 8 for lunch and thought it would be simple fare. From the moment we sat down and we represented with simple amuse bouches including the best bread of the tip, we knew we would be in for a treat. And it did not disappoint. The staff and service was helpful and attentive without being too fussy. We were not up sold a wine. Standout dishes: the ravioli and risotto. Beautifully presented and ideal sized portions. There was a lot of sharing between couples. The menu will change all the time but we will share photos of what we ate. We had a bottle of Soave and a glass of red. And coffees. We rounded up the bill to €280 which was €35 a head which for the quality of food, service and wine was outstanding value: if we had been charged €50 a head it would have been reasonable. Do go if you get the chance. You will not be disappointed.
