I’m from Charleston, WV, and I discovered this restaurant while driving by. The home-cooked food was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. I will definitely return the next time I pass through.

Quaint old style diner. Good food and great service.

Down home cooking the way it's supposed to be. I had a Giant burger combo that comes with fries and Cole slaw. Speaking of Cole slaw it's almost as good as my grandmother's so it's killer. The wife had a hot ham and cheese combo it was fantastic also. I just wished I had room for dessert. They had pies. Oh well will try and update.

We enjoyed the Pork Chop dinner, which was excellently prepared and complemented by outstanding service. Several of the servers were young men, and they were incredibly polite. They did a fantastic job following up on our needs, just like the other staff members we interacted with. We have dined there many times and look forward to many more visits! Thank you, J&J, for a wonderful experience!

I visited this restaurant for the first time and ordered the Sunday special: chicken and dumplings, which also came with stuffing. Everything tasted fantastic! Make sure to ask Mamaw for some hot chocolate—it’s a must! The buttered peas and corn were great as well.
