The Woolpack Inn - Ashford

We visited The Woolpack with our longest standing friends. We enjoyed big beers and plenty of food! The service was excellent and very friendly, making it hard to imagine a better place to dine. Everyone loved their meals, especially the must-try baked rye cod. We can't wait to return! Highly recommended.

After eagerly anticipating it, I finally returned to this restaurant with a friend on a Sunday afternoon. We arrived between lunch and dinner service, so it was peaceful as other guests had already finished their meals and left. We sat by the dying embers of the fireplace and relaxed with a drink. The warmth of the fire left a lasting impression as we peacefully watched the world go by. The restaurant is housed in a charming old building with comfortable seating, serving delicious local cuisine made from fresh, local ingredients. They also offer a selection of local beers and apple wines. The service was friendly and knowledgeable, and we are already looking forward to our next visit.
