The Swan At Chapel Down - Ashford

We visited the Chapel down yesterday on the wine tour/tasting tea! it was a wonderful sunny day that undoubtedly helped. an interesting, enthusiastic guide named russell spent an hour touring and chatting. who knew it was so complex and yet my man and I love the complexity of a good wee served with delicious food. russell, was a great guide and he was distinguished when it came to tasting. we loved it so much that we stayed in the swan chapel down for dinner. simon, the chef has perfectly completed our day. the food was wonderful and every drop of the taste menu that he provided was perfectly cooked and presented. what a talent. michael the manager chose us a brilliant bottle of wine to accompany the dinner, it was only made better by its enthusiasm. many thanks to all, every person we interacted with made it a day we will not forget!

Delicacies there for lunch, the reviews seen, but amazed by all the experience. from the beginning, employees are politely interested and highly professional. not a huge lunch menu on Sunday, but frankly I would have had almost every dish. I had the smoked makrel starter and it was quite extraordinary with amazingly delicious elements. the main course was the most amazing black treacle cow with an added pomme anna instead of roast (on request) dessert was a coffee panna citta with espresso ice cream and milk foam. only the complaining was that the bark came with gravy, although they did not ask for anyone, but that is so small a problem for what a very extraordinary lunch nicely cooked and presented. excellent breakfast with a large industry yorkshire. I cannot offer negative observations regarding the extraordinary food. toilets clean, although more smart car size! many thanks for a great experience to the general manager and all their employees.

We went to the swan for Sunday dinner, as it was my birthday, I can't praise it enough that eating was amazing, as good quality of eating and taste was not as good as for the service this was also excellent the coworkers were so professional, friendly and attentive, especially the manager paul. can not wait to go back soon

More amazing place for our high time. kate was very helpful in organizing and conducting the day. the service was very good and everyone commented on the high quality of food. overall, amazing!

Visited for my 60th birthday with my mother and sister. Had such a wonderful time. Pink fizz and fabulous food and service. Would recommend to anyone who wants something a little special.
