Miss Mollett's High Class Tea Room

This charming English tea room in the heart of the picturesque village of Appledore is a welcoming and dog-friendly spot. With real china, homemade cakes, and light meals on offer, it's the perfect place to relax. Located near the Royal Military Canal, it's also a great spot for dog walks. In addition to the tea room, there are antique dealers, a general store, and a friendly pub nearby.

We stopped by for a coffee on our way back from the coast. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, and the coffee was freshly brewed and delicious. Although we didn't try them, the cakes and snacks on display looked tasty. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available, and while dogs are not allowed inside, they are welcome at the outdoor tables. This charming spot is definitely worth a visit.

What an amazing place! We were warmly greeted and made to feel very welcome at Appledore Gardens Open, even though it was a busy day. Our daughter and two dogs were also treated with great kindness. The cafe was charming and the staff were exceptional. Thank you for helping to create such a special holiday memory.

Disorganised service, arrived was informed all booked inside so took a table outside, waitress back and forth no offer of a menu so proceeded to go inside to ask, I was given a menu, waitress came outside served another couple who arrived after us but were quick to say they wanted service, back and forth went the waitress, no oat milk’ no pasty or a juice one table sadly who had ordered didn’t get what they wanted off the menu this went on for 15 minutes, still ignored so again go inside to ask do I need to order inside was informed no be out shortly…,, I gave up after a further 10 minutes waiting. So didn’t get to sample what looks like lovely food really poor service possibly inexperienced and run out of items on a Sunday lunchtime isn’t good
