Atlantis - Ashfield

The food was ok but the hygiene was appalling. The woman who made my Gyros coughed into her hand TWICE and then touched my food without washing them. I'm never going there again!

Ordered a delivery. Took along time to arrive. Food was just warm. No fish in the batter at all just rubbery batter received. Nearly £10 for small portion of chips and some batter.

To reiterate what other writers have stated, this is the best chippy in town without doubt. I am not, local and always call in when I visit my son and family, because the service is so nice, friendly and welcoming; the produce is of excellent quality and the quantity is brilliant, (and we all get well fed over fed, but that's a nice treat). You have to try it!!!!

The only place in England I’ve ever had a gyros pitta as authentic and as tasty as this. The portions are always very very generous. Pork gyros, chicken or both! The doner meat is also some of the best around. Your missing out if you haven’t been. It’s great to have a place like this around!

The meal was fantastic, always more than enough to satisfy, and great value for money. The restaurant offers a wide selection of food to choose from.
