Woodfire Grille - Asheville

Just got in town and decided to take my husband here for his birthday dinner and I am so glad that we did. Server was so friendly and made some recommendations. The food was fresh and delicious. This place should be a packed house but I think due to its hidden locations inside the Holiday Inn it’s not very easily accessed. Go here, you won’t be disappointed.

We arrived on time for our dinner reservation and waited about 15 minutes before we took the initiative to ask about getting seated or service in general. There was only ONE wait staff on duty who was covering the bar and the two seating areas. Not what we expected when we made reservations. We spoke to the wait staff and told her we had reservations but were not going to stay due to the situation and she was fine with us leaving. Very disappointing.

Party of nine. Seated promptly. Order on time. Food all well prepared.

A beautiful, an ultimately gorgeous little get away, the rooms are immaculate and clean. And the restaurant there is just amazing. So amazing that I wanted to work there to get a taste of what else they served. And I am blown away by how expertly everything is crafted and the ingredients used. Very delicious food staff is excellent and kind I would have taken a picture of my 12oz new York strip steak but it was so delicious I inhaled it Kid-friendliness: They have chicken tenders for kids and sweet potatoes fries my kids chewed them up
