The Barrelhouse - Asheville

One of my favorite Asheville restaurants. Pierogi's just like in PA. Fried deviled eggs, excellent burgers and chicken sandwiches. Drinks are great! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50

It feels more like a bar than a restaurant to me. There's nothing wrong with that. We had come for a birthday dinner celebration and were hoping for a nice meal. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

It's a weird spot for a great little bar. You're not sure whether you want to go in at first, but go for it, the stamp is friendly and food and service is terrific. We had awesome wings and a chicken sandwich and the beers were fairly priced with good variety. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Vegan friendly menu, but above all the service was exceptionally excellent and the entire atmosphere of the place (including the regular patronage) is very neighborly and inviting. If you're looking for a hole in the wall that makes you feel like you're a part of the Asheville community, go to this wonderful place. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
