Salvage Station - Asheville

This place is amazing! Plenty of space and a breeze through the square! Magic! We saw the String Cheese Incident this weekend and they were phenomenal, as usual! There were two things that were disappointed though....that the beer was $7 on Friday and $9 on Saturday then 2 different sizes on Sunday prices $7 and $9. I know you sold 2 different sizes on Sunday, but that was a little confusing. The shield above said $7, but the bartender was a little jerky and told me $9 in a strict voice, although the sign said $7 on Sat. You can't bring any water bottle??? Fortunately, the guys at the front left me to store my water bottle at the small hut and I took it back on the way. Besides these two things, everything else was great food trucks were fire and I also bought a refillable water bottle from one of them for refilling at the water station. Thank you. Cheese for a really good time!!!

We were added to many concerts in this place and its much improved in the last 5 years with many gravel and mulch, so its no longer a muddy mess when it rains. There are usually food trucks, beer stand, band-merch stand and many Porta-Johns in good condition (at this last visit) Most concerts are allowed only standing rooms and no chairs or ceilings. There are some chairs, but not counting on getting one. You can use your tickets online- we always use the Salvage Station website. The parking lot is simply not large enough for most concerts, so parking both directions along Riverside Drive.

Second concert I was here, both times were phenomenal, and they also added an outdoor concert stage that I am thrilled with!

Nice little place. I wanted to see Chase Matthews. I never had so much fun at a concert. Two different bars on the inside and also has an outer platform.

This review is for the large outdoor stage... Overall a good experience! Our show was too packed with people in my opinion. (Sold out show) Lots of places to buy a beverage (free water) and good selection of food trucks for this show. Nice to be outside! FYI Very few sit down areas. So be prepared to stand for the outdoor shows. Couldn't get a ride to the venue from Asheville which stinks. Tried and tried but no Lyft or Uber available 1 1/2 hrs before the show. So we drove there. We parked in a field at Riverside Drive and Hill Street. (No issues) Walked 2 blocks to venue.
