Rye Knot - Asheville

Extremely tart whiskey sour…really just tasted like lemon juice. Ordered the pork belly over brussells as an appetizer. It came out with a giant hunk of pork belly and a quarter of that was very overcooked and the other portion was raw and extremely fatty. Our server noticed this without us saying anything and they removed the pork belly from our bill. I got the aged tenderloin as the main and the steak was very fatty and tough. It did not taste aged. The Mac and cheese that came with the steak was extremely greasy, I had to strain the grease out of the Mac and cheese before I could eat it. My partner had the meatloaf which was ok though on the dry side. I would not recommend going here and if you would like a dry aged steak Proper in downtown Asheville is phenomenal.

Super impressed! This place is delicious! One of my new favorite restaurants. I’ve been here a few times already. The rye knots and cheese are amazing. The tomato soup is one of the best soups I’ve ever had. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting.

On 11.6.23 I went to the restaurant for Dinner! My favorite server Simone L. was there immediately informed me of the RK Features list! Knowing that I'm a creature of habit she highly recommended Grilled Pork Chop Special! Immediately it sounded interesting! After giving me an awesome detailed introduction to the entree I placed my order! It was a very well presented Pork chop cooked to perfection! The most tender Pork Chop ever covered by an incredible Bacon Onion jam with 2 sides! The first was Ancho sweet potatoes the second was the Crispy whole grain Brussels sprouts! Temperature of everything was perfect! Presentation was completely mouth watering! Simone's knowledge of the Grilled Pork Chop special is typical of her skills in representing the restaurant their food!Excellent people skills, combined with menu knowledge server attention to drink refills! Never had to ask for anything! Price more than worthy of the quality entree! Highly recommend the RYE KNOT!

The atmosphere was really nice, the beer was good, server was great, but had a very bad experience with the food. I ordered a burger for lunch and it was brought to me extremely undercooked. The server took it back and was very apologetic, but the kitchen just put the same burger back on the grill and it was still undercooked. It was inedible because of how raw it was on the inside. I explained that I wasn’t able to eat it and was still charged for it. Must’ve just been a bad day in the kitchen. I hope next time is better.
