My favourite at Rosettas Kitchen is the Tempay Reuben and the Vegan Nachos! A wonderful eats everyone will enjoy, dont have to eat a vegetarian here! The Buchi Bar is also a beautiful place can get food from the kitchen!
When friends come to the city and ask where they can go for a good meal and a true taste of Asheville, I send them to Rosetta. You will see each cross section of our city coming through the doors to one or another, and whether or not you eat vegetarians, you will be happy full and fully satisfied. And if you happen to be a little money poor, there is something else for you to eat at Rosetta's, and if you are a little money rich, you can help others not starve. Rosetta's passion for her family, both directly and in the community of Asheville and beyond, is present in this wonderful space and in every bite. The Favorite family is always great, and if you get the frits, try one side of the severity for diving, but be careful, it is addictive!
My friend and I went to Rosetta for lunch today. I've never been there, but it's one of their favorite places to eat. I was a bit comprehensible because it's a vegan restaurant. We arrived at 11:30 and sat in a comfortable stand. The restaurant has two levels. We ate down where there is an open air concept. The server came by and brought us each one glass of water and asked if we want to drink something else. You don't have an iced tea, so we both chose water. I asked for a glass of ice that he brought me right away. We started with chips and salsa($4.50), which was very good. I ordered the pad thai with peanut butter Tofu ($10.50) and my friend got the small family meal ($9.50). The pad thai was the best I ever had (although I have to admit that I only had it a few times). It was very tasteful, spicy, sweet and tangie. My friend also enjoyed their meal. She said it's her favorite item in the menu. The potatoes with vegan engraving were excellent, super tasteful. We wanted to split a piece of vegan cheesecake, but were too full. I'm glad I stepped outside my comfort zone and tried something else. Good food, this is good for you, reasonable prices and a restaurant that returns to the community.
We 've been here several times and have never had a problem with the food or the service. Everything comes out delicious and within a reasonable amount of time. I also love that they 're genuinely a very conscientiously run business. I overheard the owner or a manager interviewing a potential employee once and, upon learning that the individual did not have a home at the moment, first asked if this person is safe where they are now. No judgmental tone, no wariness or dismissiveness. That 's pretty remarkable.
