Moose Cafe - Asheville

Me and my wife came here after going to the Biltmore and loved every second of it. We drove 3 hrs and couldn't take any leftovers but we enjoyed every bite. Definitely need to go for breakfast and as soon as you can as they switch to lunch quickly.

Food was great and you're not going to leave hungry.

The food here isn't good at all. Everything is canned, or instant. mashed potatoes came out of the container in a block when i took a spoonful. beans still had a film over them from the can, nothing fresh. However, the servers are very nice and hospitable! Great service, not so great food.

Great comfort food large portions. 2022/11/10 Update: this was my first breakfast at moose Cafe. It was pretty good. While it didn't live up to the reviews I have seen other places, it was fine. The blueberry cake (pancake) was very large and very good. Per usual, the service was outstanding with the waitress being friendly and helpful.

Visiting my daughter from Christianburg VA. On our way to a family reunion in Gainesville GA. Stopped here to break-up the trip and have some eats. Food and service were fantastic. Pleasant surroundings. Very busy but well staffed and very reasonable wait for service. Definitely will recommend this establishment and would return if I'm in the area again.
