Early Girl Eaterywest Asheville

This was our first time dining at this restaurant and we were very impressed with the quality of the food. We will definitely be returning in the future. Our server was friendly and helpful, but seemed unfamiliar with the menu and required some prompting. The restaurant does not accept OpenTable reservations, which could have been an issue if it had been busy. There seems to be a disconnect in their operations.

The service was good but the food was mediocre. The restaurant had very little ambience.

We are big fans of Early Girl and now that they have 3 locations, it is much more convenient to visit. My favorite dish is the Eggs Benedict (with hollandaise or tomato gravy). Jack enjoyed the meatloaf and had enough to take home. John tried one of the 3 specials of the night: breaded chicken something. While we typically think of Early Girl for breakfast, it was a pleasant surprise to go for dinner and enjoy the full offerings from the bar as well. We will definitely return! It's hard to decide between the charm and character of Early Girl Eatery on Wall Street or the convenience and availability (it was not crowded) of Early Girl Eatery on Haywood. We can't wait to try the new location on Merrimon as well!

Great food, wonderful service! Oh, and this may be the ONLY restaurant on Haywood Road that has ample parking.
