Biscuit Head - Asheville

I ordered the biscuit and sausage, as well as the biscuit and gravy. Unfortunately, the only vegan gravy option available was sweet potato curry, as their mushroom gravy contained non-vegan ingredients. This was disappointing for me as I am a fan of mushrooms. Upon opening the container, I noticed that my biscuit was dense while my wife's was light and flaky. I took a bite and found that the flavors were not to my taste. I ended up eating only half of the biscuit with my sausage, dipping a piece of the other half in the gravy, and discarding the rest. The gravy, however, was surprisingly delicious, so I saved it to enjoy later over some rice.

The biscuit was just average, and they didn't clearly indicate which ones were vegan (fortunately, I asked and found out my initial assumption was incorrect). They offer vegan sausage to go with the biscuit, but I regret not trying the vegan sweet potato coconut gravy, which my friend had and said tasted like a tasty curry!

The vegan biscuit is also gluten-free, but it resembled more of a scone than a traditional biscuit. Unfortunately, it was not good. The veggie sausage gravy is not vegan, and the vegan option, sweet potato gravy, was not enjoyable either. This restaurant may not be suitable for vegans. The coffee was average, although they did offer oat milk.

Great vegan bisquits and gravy can be very hard to find. This is the best I've had.

We made a box stop in asheville. my friend likes the biscuit head and was very excited to go today. the place itself is super sweet and unique. my favorite is the full of cat art they have. When we ordered, I was surprised that we only had three things. I didn't think it would fill us up. but when it came out, it was huge. the fried green tomato biscuit was very good. it had a lot of aromas that worked together to compile the keks themselves. we shared the coconut potato bread. I had mixed feelings about trying it, but I'm really glad we did it! it was very good! it was sweet and again everything complicated the cookies well. my friend is mimosa fried chicken biscuit. the teig used in fried chicken had a very pleasant and sweet-germanic taste that really complimented the huh. it was refreshing in comparison to normal roasted chicken. we will come back to taste the sweetness and the other vegetarian gravitation. ps- there are many very funny and unique jams. get a simple cookie so they can taste them all! I liked the mango chili.
