Blue Water Bayou Bistro - Ashdown

I'm not sure why this site have those hours of operation. Those hours are for my Texarkana location. We are only open every other Saturday 6pm to 2am. and that may change. Texarkana demanding. No need for a negative rating.

It says it's open but it's not and they don't have a sign up saying they are close down. Even the phones are off. Waste of time

The food is very good if you haven't eaten here your missing out

Blue Water Bayou Bistro has been been turning out some of the best southern food within a 50 mile radius of Texarkana since their Ashdown (Yarborough Landing) location opened for business, and they have now graced us with a downtown Texarkana location. Their artful yet technically pristine riffs on southern classics like fried catfish, chicken fried chicken and Cajun shrimp fettuccini are to die for, and they keep it fresh with regular specials. The hours are a little tricky, a small inconvenience for a level of culinary brilliance rarely experienced here. Go.

Had the seafood gumbo today at the Texarkana location...and OMG! It’s hands-down THE best in this entire area! Comparable to the best Cajun restaurants in Louisiana! Will definitely be coming back for more!!!
