Mac's Fish Tinwald - Ashburton

A separate fryer, batter and kept completely separate from non gf food. Ordered fish, fries and kumera fries which were the best kumera fries we've ever had. Good prices too

The food is decent since the management change, but I keep going back because it's the only gluten-free fish and chips place in Ashburton.

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant. Since our 7-year-old daughter has celiac disease, we called ahead to discuss our order. We were reassured that there would be no risk of cross-contamination. The gluten-free items were cooked in a separate fryer, individually wrapped, and clearly labeled. They also tasted fantastic! This place is definitely worth a visit!

The food is delicious and they have a separate frier and are very careful and knowledgeable about gluten free food. No other GF fish and chip places in Ashburton so will keep going there

I thoroughly enjoyed my blue cod and chips, especially with the fresh lemon on the side. The taste was fantastic and everything was really fresh.
