Formosa - Ashburton

There are not many vegan options in this city so 4 stars for veg food and know what vegan means. Most vegetarian options were already vegan, others could be made vegan. We had fried rice, dumplings, edamam and sweet sour cauliflowers. The sweet acid cauliflower was expensive, but amazing. Beautiful atmosphere and probably the best place in town

I am absolutely blown away by this restaurant. From the atmosphere, to the decorations, to the incredible food and service - everything is top-notch. This is hands down the best Asian cuisine I have ever experienced. We ordered a variety of appetizers and 4 main dishes for our party of 8, and it was the perfect amount of food. I would highly recommend this restaurant and definitely plan on dining here again in the future.

The service was fantastic and our meal was amazing. The staff was very helpful in explaining the menu to us, as we were unfamiliar with many of the items. We were the last ones to leave, but we never felt rushed. This restaurant has definitely become a new favorite for us!

Amber and Don recently catered our wedding over the weekend, and I cannot praise them enough! The food was absolutely perfect and everyone at the event thoroughly enjoyed it. We received glowing reviews from all of our guests, as well as from the bar staff, photographer, and DJ who also had the opportunity to indulge in the delicious cuisine. We have dined at their restaurant before, and it is simply stunning. Thank you to the entire team for providing us with such incredible food and service.
