The Greenman Inn - Ashbourne

This restaurant is a beautiful, ultra-clean, and modern pub located on a peaceful road, making it an ideal spot for a weekend drive or ride. There's ample seating both indoors and outdoors, accommodating a couple of hundred guests. The food and service are excellent. Although I had passed by many times, I recently met my parents there for a meal, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. It was fantastic!

Excellent service! I made a last-minute reservation, and they were very accommodating. The venue was warm and cozy upon arrival. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place any time of year. The outdoor areas are lovely as well. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Charming pub with wonderful outdoor seating. The calamari and grilled fish were delicious, accompanied by a very fresh salad. Service was prompt, and the prices were quite reasonable. I’ll definitely be returning for another lovely Sunday lunch!

Went there for lunch on friend's recommendation we weren't disappointed. Extensive menu for most tastes. Delicious food. Great setting. Staff friendly efficient. Highly recommended.

Poor grumpy slow service, grubby, basic pub with poorly executed basic menu. Publican had all the excuses under the sun, with no hospitality or humility. He made it feel like it was our fault for going there. Crikey, we should have known they were over stretched and the kitchen couldn't cope and the dunny was blocked and they hadn't bothered to clean the place properly in the last twenty years. Quit while you're ahead and don't go there. Price per person: A$40–60
