Sunrise Indian Restaurant - Ascot Vale

We have long time customers of sunrise and every time we dine here, it is consistently good. eating is great, very tasty. samosas are great, like the Tandoori pilz. curries are all good quality and great served. service is fast and efficient. the bill was under $75 for three people and that included alcohol. we're coming back!

We have booked online, arrived early and received a warm welcome. First impressions....drinks were very cheap, decoration Bland, tables well presented. We ordered an Onion Bhaji starter, Lamb Madras and Shahi Paneer Haupts, Reis and a Masala Kulcha bread. The onion Bhaji was red with... food color, but otherwise tasty. The little companion salad looked tired, made too early and not cooled I guessed. The mains were delicious, not hot, as described. The bread was very nice, good texture and delicious. The Serbs were a note larger than many restaurants, and prices appropriate. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, 4 stars, and I think worthy of a return visit.
