Mamaku - Ascot

Interesting flavoured dumplings with peanut sauce but the winner of the night was the Beef rendang! Would have to be one of the best I have tried. The chicken wings were average.

Such a tiny welcoming family restaurant-nice and simple. Were friendly served by the owner dad and his son. Mamaku meaned my mother in Indonesian language, and there was a photo of the owner 's wife and her mom hanging there. Chosen from the simple menu, the prawn and pork meatballs soup tasted quite superb in the real chicken broth. The meatballs themselves were well seasoned, juicy and tender. The char shui pork nasi goreng served with all the salty, sweet, spiced flavours and topped with a sunny-side-up egg. A small restaurant, but don't let that discredit the quality of flavour and Asian cuisine. Really nice food! Recommend a booking and taste for yourself

Simply amazing. Lovely, small spot with the most beautiful staff. Been here numerous times and enjoyed each and every time. It's the little things that make this a big winner!

This little hole in the wall restaurant is clean and pretty and accommodates quite a few people for its size. The food was spectacular and fresh! Prices were average and portions were perfect. I am very picky with my southeast asian/asian cuisines and we will definitely be back.
