A great find an awesome Chinese food restaurant near Brisbane Entertainment Centre. The décor is traditional Australian Chinese and food is cooked to order so food is really tasty. I will be back again before concerts if I get time.

We dine in and order take always every so often. This restaurant is one of those little hole in the wall places that you don't realise is a hidden little gem! All meals are made fresh to order on premises, including entreé! We love the hot sour soup, shredded beef, and salt and pepper squid. Tasty, fresh and always consistent, we will always be back for another Chinese fix!

Had dinner here the night before a flight out of Brisbane, service was a little slow, husband's meal of sweet sour fish was an absolute winner, mine a prawn omelette was bland and full of bean shoots, so all in all half excellent half I could have taken or left it.

The Golden Bamboo in the Northern Suburbs of Brisbane near the Boondall Entertainment centre is a place that you would drive past 100 times and not consider. However that's a mistake! This suburban looking but comfortable restaurant is a place of great Chinese food if you carefully examine the menu. The Imperial Peking Pork ribs are the best I have tasted succulent and juicy, with a great sauce. The chilli salt and pepper squid is the best I have tried anywhere including Europe and parts of China. The garlic vegetables are also super. Other great dishes are hiding in the menu which I guess has to be general and wide in choice for Brisbane suburban tastes. The secret is an excellent husband and wife team who understand food. Ask for something special. The prices are moderate
