La Baguette is located in the Damm district of Aschaffenburg, in the middle of a residential area with a block of houses and some commercial companies. The owner Thomas Gerlach has been known to my wife and me for more than 20 years since he was hosting the Eller restaurant in Mainaschaff at the end of the nineties and was one of the few good ones who have ever housed this site. When he refocused, he already opened the La Baguette in today's place, and we and many acquaintances of us were often for breakfast at D Mark times before we went to the city for shopping. Always satisfied and welcome as friends. After a few years, he concluded the La Baguette to align himself differently before he reopened the locality in 2013 and brought new life through a transformed concept. Unfortunately, we did not get this at the time, and therefore we only heard last year by a sister of my wife that La Baguette opened again, and they came back several times and praised the huge selection of breakfast buffet. On Thursday it finally turned out that we wanted to strengthen ourselves with a great breakfast before the start of a shopping trip in Aschaffenburg. So I called a day before and reserved us a table. Thomas was on the phone and immediately expressed his joy that we wanted to see each other again. And the greeting on Thursday morning at 9.30 was just as warm. He had reserved us a nice table right at the window front. A friendly service responsible for cleaning the dish and filling the bufat led us to the table and made us fully familiar with the conditions of breakfast (10.50 € p.p. with coffee and juices. The selection was huge. And whoever wants a hot or cold drink or maybe a glass of champagne can order this at really moderate prices. I was pleasantly surprised by the huge offer that was also visually appealing on the buffet, and just before I sat down, I took some photos that show only about half the offer. You have to look around for a while before being served on the buffet, because you can finally not taste everything, white sausages, sausages, paprika, small carvings, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, sausages and cheese, house sausages, fruits, vegetables, carps, sardines in oil, fruit cocktails, various breads.
