We went to dinner at Taka on a Saturday night at 5:30pm. When we arrived, it was quiet and they seated us at a booth. We asked to move to a round table and were told there was a reservation for that table at 7 pm, but we could sit there if we finished before then. Our party of 6 started with Crispy Spicy Tuna, Crab Cakes, Edamame, and Seared Sea Scallops. All were good, but my favorite was the Crispy Spicy Tuna. The fresh tuna with rice cake and ponzu sauce was heavenly. I didn't like jalapeños, so I removed that slice, but the taste with scallions was phenomenal. We also shared a Caesar Salad, prepared with a light dressing and a lotus chip on top. Another couple had the house salad but preferred our Caesar. For entrees, we split the EbibSalmon, which was delicious and unique with shrimp tempura and avocado inside, topped with lightly cooked salmon, lobster salad, caramelized soy sauce, and sriracha. Others in our party had Braised Short Ribs, Jun-San roll, Sliced Yellowtail Jalapeno, and 3 other rolls. The place got packed as we left, but the spacious and nicely decorated restaurant maintained a comfortable noise level. It was a bit pricey, but the quality of the meal made it worth it!

Great place for a date night. Tasted good and good service. I would def come here again.

Great food, ambiance is perfect, and always exceptional service and hospitality. Never disappointed
