Mr. Spot Pizza - Asbury Park

I placed an online order and had to wait one hour and 10 minutes for delivery. I was unsure if they had received my order because it took so long. I called 14 times to confirm, but they left the phone on the counter without answering. I understand that it was the last day of the seafood festival and they were probably busy. However, if their online system promises a 35-minute wait time and I wait over an hour, I expect a simple confirmation that my order is being processed. I paid $60 for cold pizza that had been sitting for over an hour.

The experience at this restaurant was absolutely awful. I placed an order through Grubhub two hours before the restaurant closed. After waiting for about an hour, I received email notifications saying that my order would be arriving shortly. However, the restaurant then called to inform me that they had canceled my order because it was too late for delivery, even though they were still open for another hour. They did not give me a polite explanation or apology. I decided to cancel my order without saying anything. To my surprise, two days later I realized that I had still been charged by the restaurant. I contacted Grubhub and they informed me that the restaurant had never actually canceled my order. Fortunately, Grubhub provided me with a voucher and a refund for the inconvenience.

This restaurant is awful. They never delivered our order when we called to check on it, and it was eventually cancelled. I would not recommend ordering from here. This place is the worst.

Nice and friendly atmosphere and I can always expect good vibes, the food is good
