Mark's Place - Asbury Park

Best authentic Jamaican food in the area! The Oxtail dinner with cabbage and plantains was fantastic and the portions are great for the price. The order was prepared and delivered fast. I will definitely continue to order from Mark's Place.

The oxtail was incredibly flavorful and served in generous portions, which is hard to find these days. Just a heads-up, the homemade drink tastes like a delicious fruit punch – I highly recommend it! The brown stewed chicken was a hit with the kids as well.

Delicious food, excellent service, generous portions, and a fantastic atmosphere. The oxtail, jerk chicken, and stewed chicken are consistently excellent. They also offer an incredibly tasty carrot juice that is quite addictive, although I believe it's seasonal. Whenever it's available, I make sure to get some! I've been a loyal customer for many years and have never had a bad experience.

This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I was really impressed! The food looked exactly like the pictures, and the taste lived up to the rave reviews—simply amazing! The dishes were well-seasoned, especially the meat on the bone. I ordered the Combo Curry Chicken and the Ruck Chicken Classic. Normally, I don’t eat the bones, but I have to say, they were truly delectable! The prices were reasonable, and everything was phenomenal! If I wake up from this delicious experience feeling great, I’ll definitely be back at Mark's Place!
