Contribuiți la feedbackWe had 1 night for my birthday. Room was small and not to clean, we were room 11 and about 10pm the members of staff started to be very loud and smash doors until I went down and told them off. Me my partner and dog jumped off bed a few times from the bashing doors. We couldn’t sleep until 12pm as constantly was noise and slamming doors! Breakfast was nice and service lovely lady that served us was very helpful , but the room and the sleep was the worse we ever experienced in about 26 holidays we had. If you there to party and not care about your sleep then that is the place. For us sleep and rest matters!
A warm welcome with upgraded room on check in which was a pleasant surprise. Very comfortable if compact room but then how much room do you actually need? But the highlight of the stay was breakfast. The staff were truely amazing, the waitress had us in stitches with her funny banter and story's. I'm not exaggerating when I say she truely made our brief stay truely memorable and we both said we regret not staying longer as neither of us have enjoyed such a well cooked and entertaining breakfast ever! Next time we're in the area we will most certainly stay at The Swan again.
I would not rate the hotel star rating above a 3star. The room were presented nicely, but very small, you could not walk passed anyone else in the room it's that tight, the bath room door would not close fully, the floors very nosey, not worth the price. Breakfast was OK, but had to ask for toast which came after main food, and last of simple thinks like pastries, eating in the evening again OK, nothing special. Staff were OK, but didn't make you feel special, bar timing were strange, it closed between 10 and 11 depend on number of customers. We paid £166 for an off peak room call INDULGENCE, which it was not,
Overall great one night visit. Room was excellent with lovely bathroom. Food and drink great and even when kitchen was flooded the breakfast at the cafe over the road which the hotel paid for was brilliant . Staff a little hit and miss on arrival day, but very attentive staff on morning.
Fantastic pub/hotel located in the picturesque town of Arundel. The room was spacious, bright, and unique. It was impeccably clean and welcoming to dogs. The food served was higher quality than your typical pub food, more resembling a gastropub, and absolutely delicious.
