Contribuiți la feedbackThis was my first day in a Cafe since March. Was so, so nervous, as immunosuppressive. Well, I can’t praise this Cafe and Staff enough. Tracey took my details for Track and Trace. And I will now download the App. She was so reassuring to me. Asked me where I wanted to sit to feel the most safest. Although, no one else came in anyway. Great Self Distancing set up, and Hygiene. She really couldn’t of made me feel more at ease. As I think she could see my Anxiety. But, in all honesty. It was so much better then feared. I felt relaxed, and quite safe. The other lady (I’m so sorry, I’ve forgot your name) was just as attentive as Tracey. I truly couldn’t of been any better looked after. There is without no doubt, myself, Mum&Dad will be back very soon. And make this a regular visit, to get me out. I can’t thank you both enough. You truly deserve a Medal. I felt very privileged. I hope you’ve both been recognised by your Management, of how hard, and patient you both are? And how well you are keeping to the rules? Looking forward to seeing you both soon. Tracy, Angela and Colin. X PS. I am in no way related to, or have investment in the cafe. This is a genuine, high Anxiety disabled person. Who was terrified to go out again. Faith restored. Thank you.
They serve great coffee and I had a blueberry muffin that was delicious the service was a bit slow but well worth the wait.
Met my sister here this afternoon about 3 for a cuppa. As you walk in to the cafe,it truly couldn 't look worse. The floor had areas of food just laying there. The upholstery is just filthy. The loo is broken. I can only wonder at what it 's like behind the scenes.I had to attract the attention of the girl behind the counter, even though there was only my sister and I at the counter. The pot of tea was cold. The Capuchinno was cold. Although there was hardly another soul in there, she couldn 't be bothered to bring the tray of just 2 drinks to the table, when it was ready. There were only perhaps 4 people in there when we arrived and after 90 minutes, another 3 customers had come in.Not a great selection of cakes (2 pre packed gluten free offerings and crumbs on the shelf where the cakes had run out. The girl behind the counter and the other unseen girl in the kitchen area were singing, loudly. It didn 't overly matter but it was unprofessional and,had you have been trying to have a quiet or serious conversation, would have been unwelcome.I spoke to the girl behind the counter about the state of the place and passing complaints on to the manager (she assured me I wasn 't the only one! but she wasn 't interested in taking my name and phone number. She said that the 2 of them were very busy behind the scenes...I pointed out they won 't have jobs if things don 't improve IN FRONT, where the Customer is expected to sit. I asked to speak to the store manager on my way out.A very pleasant young man.To my amazement he told me that cleaners go in the cafe every day! Really ?? He said they are waiting to get the upholstery cleaned...I assured him that it was WAY beyond cleaning,it needed replacing, and that any sensible cafe business would build this occasional overhead into their prices. He made all the right noises about passing my comments on...but I 'm not optimistic. Dunelm, like so many businesses trying to keep prices down, don 't employ true Managers as such. They just take a willing member of staff, pay them very slightly more than the rest, and Bingo! you don 't need to employ an experienced, suitably trained,Manager. They really don 't deserve to stay in business.
The cafe has different teas and other drinks .But their cake's beware they are just yummy . Also they do a small variety of small meals like baked potatoes which are also very nice
Lovely staff, great scones, and apple pie is just like Mother used to make , tasty coffee, snack type meals, toasties, jackets etc.
