Couple lunch, near the wonderful black cathedral. We ate divinely: each plate was prepared with homemade care and the raw material was of excellent quality. Pairings capable of giving a new taste to foods. Adequate value for money and helpful owners. Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We stopped in the place because of the good atmosphere that there is in that street The portions taste good but they are extremely small and at a price of €8 to €9. the beers are reasonably priced. I give the one star note because of the very small portions for the price they cost and because the waiter when we asked him for the bill brought us a meaningless piece of paper with scribbles, which we did not understand, which were 99 euros for the bill and he rushed with the dataphone to pay them. He tried to tease us in a shameless way, he wouldn't even let us add the bill, in the end we insisted and added it with our mobile and the bill was 63 euros. Finally he apologized to us, but the feeling was that he wanted to charge us more and we caught him. Gran restaurante de comida tradicional Canarias. Muy amables y con un gran producto de la tierra tratado con mucho mimo
I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL. It 's not the first time I 've been here but this will be the last. After some not very pleasant experience, I decided to give it another chance because the “tortilla route” was celebrated in Arucas. When I arrive they tell me that there is no food despite having reserved, then the owner comes out and apologizes saying that he will make us the omelette. The sign indicated that it was made from Canarian cheese and they served us a traditional tortilla but this was not the problem. He recommended some meatballs with cranberry sauce that, it must be said, were good, but the owner told us that they were normally served with potatoes, but due to the overload of work they couldn 't do it. So he served us 4 meatballs on a clay base. When I got up to pay while the owner and the cook were arguing in the kitchen, the waitress asked them how much they charged us for that tapa (to call it something). The cook, without knowing what was in front of her, replied: you charge her €8 and the waitress told her: but the fact is that she hasn 't been served potatoes and she said, I don 't care, you charge her that and that 's it! In very bad ways. The result?: 3 beers, 1 glass of white wine, 4 mini meatballs and 2 tortilla skewers €32!
