Font Del Genil - Arseguel

We dined in the restaurant here and found this to be as unusual as one could ever expect. Set in the mountains a few miles outside of Seu d`Urgell, the very small village provides a small but very good restaurant at the Font de Gemil Hotel. Run by husband and wife team, the menu may be slightly limited but is excellent in quality and there is also an excellent choice of wines. This is certainly one of those once in a lifetime situations as you feel external to the outside world and divorced from the hustle and bustle of modern society. Please try , you will not be disappointed.

If you 're in the neighbourhood of la Seu d 'Urgell, just continue 10km in the direction of Puigcerda and stop in the small village of Arséguel, just 1.5km of the main road. This tiny village has a savoury jewel where one can eat a delicious meal. We had a wonderfull tapas starter and the most delicious lamb and local meaty Paella. Bigger groups need to reserve though!

Found this beautiful place on the way from Andorra to Barcelona and so happy we did. Just 1,5 km off the road but amazingly friendly people and unexpectedly great food with modern twist and home cooked feeling. Loved it!!!

Hermosa estadía en un pueblito de piedra entre las montañas. La atención de Erica y Edison fue lo mejor del lugar. Volveremos!!

Cenamos para fin de año y el menu era muy bueno y bien de precio. El servicio muy amable!
