Red Dirt Coffee House - Arroyo Grande

Ordered delivery via Doordash. Service was good, with the restaurant calling to notify that something wasn't available and giving us alternatives to pick from. They nailed all our customizations and the food was tasty.

I did not expect to find an island gem like this in Arroyo Grande. Wonderful staff, coffee and atmosphere. Feels like home. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free brownies, macaroons and muffins.

Although the baked goods were very good, they charged me $1 for a cup of hot water!! I don't think that the paper cup they put the hot water in could have cost them more than $0.25. And since my husband had ordered a regular drink and we also purchased a pumpkin bread, it wasn't like I was trying to get by without giving them some substantial business.

Great down to earth shop, very friendly staff, tons of choices on the menu and a lot of great coffee choices. The lattes aren't too sweet and they have housemade chocolate syrup.

What a fabulous gem to be found while we wait for our car to charge! Phenomenal island vibe! Spam musubi and fabulous pastries at 7:30 am?!? YES PLEASE! Local hangout for sure. Cannot wait to come back for local grinds! Dietary restrictions: Lots of GF options
