Contribuiți la feedbackDuring our recent visit, we were happy to discover that the food improved. we came in with a group of 25 people... they not only took care of us (a big challenge), all of our meals were tasty. Glad to see they bounced back. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Sweet Potato Fries

Service was great, dinner was refreshing! I had the seafood combo! Everything complimented each other. Environment decor kept your eyes wondering throughout the visit.
Delicious food but an odd experience! I searched high and low for a reasonably priced steak in the SLO area and stumbled upon this gem. Information I found online said they were closed that evening so I had decided to go somewhere else until I drove past and saw they were indeed open! I walked in to this old school, western vibe restaurant and was greeted by a staff who handed me a menu and said that they were unusually busy and I could have a seat in the lounge area since the servers were all busy in the dining room. I went into the lounge which was home to a packed bar and several sparsely occupied tables. There were no servers moving about, just the bartender. Noticing there were no servers, I wasn 't sure how to order so I inquired and was told that my server would be there soon. The bartender left the bar and came to my table and took my order. My heart went out to him as he was very busy but handled it with what looked like minimal effort. As a non local, the vague welcoming left me a little unsure but the food was definitely delicious. There were generous portions, and table appetizers of onion rings which were served with a side of salsa. Admittedly, the salsa with onion rings was perplexing at first but I decided to jump in with both feet. I was not disappointed. It was an interesting combination that I never would have tried on my own. My steak was cooked perfectly, and the mashed potatoes were exquisite! Due to the awkward/vague service experience at the beginning I 'm giving it a SOLID 4 Stars!
Let's start with the arrival, easy parking. Check Walked in and greeted by our hostess Miranda. And Told us the wait time was short, we went to the bar because when she had asked us if we wanted to wait and mentioned if we'd like to head bar side first, that she'd personally find us and seat us when a table was ready. Wow. Then bar side, Larry the bartender gave us a wine and beverage list and we had our drinks before being lead to a table personally by Miranda. Okay.... we see you F. McLintocks. Then Bre our server had suggestions and made us feel privileged with a smile, menus, and onion rings, and a second round of drinks to bring back from the bar. As we looked out towards Shell Beach and snacked, we just looked at all the good choices on the menu. Bre came back. We had asked for house salads, then ordered steaks. What else could we have wanted. Oh my goodness, the end after that food was a choice selection of vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce. There were several dessert options. Yet everything was better than good. And the atmosphere was so good. Hostess with the mostess and a waitress that is gracious, we were catered to direct, specifically felt like we were Mattie and Bruce. So good. To mention, that if you ask them to pour your water blindfolded with a glass on your head. It can be done. Definitely awesome, not a drop spilled . See you again soon F.McLintocks saloon.
