Buffalo Chips - Arrecife

It was Thursday, we were undecided where to go. Saw this place and walked in. Great place cheap menu good selection of sides and drinks. Recommend the house burger and spicy chips, as well as the “salchipapas”. 2 burger and chips, 1 salchipapas, 2 soft drinks, 1 beer and 3 coffees 25 euros. Table service good. Staff pleasant. Food more than good Prices not going to ruin anyone’s budget. Will definitely go again.

Mr Realtalk back by popular demand!!! So this was my 1st time in lanzarote and I thought to myself where should i go and eat. So i saw a restaurant that was 4.3 stars via google. The food was nasty... so i saw another restaurant called the ‘Buffalo Chips Lanzarote’ which was 4.5. I had to find it and attend. Firstly this restaurant is near the main road but tucked away. The place is clean and looks nice... the menus are simple and the staff were accommodating especially because I haven’t spoken Spanish since year 9. So I decided because i wasted money on the last restaurant i went to... I would order something simple for the sake of eating. I ordered chips known on the menu as SAUCE. I ordered a chicken burger, wings and wanted garlic mayo as a dip. I also wanted to taste chips mixed with sausage and cheese. Okay so my 1st problem was that I understand they call it fast food but why did they bring my plain chips out alone? Where was the burger? I know its petty but COME ON PEOPLE!!! Anyway so my food came out quick and i looked at the chips and dipped one in the sauce. Wow! I cant lie... the chips were a 7/10 but i think because I haven’t been happy with the quality of food near where im staying ill give it a 7.5/10. It was light and had the right amount if crisp. The mayo garlic sauce was thick.. the flavor was meaningful... I think ill give it an 8/10 BUT after a while that sauce started to be the downfall of its own success and my tastebuds no longer wanted any more of that sauce. The burger arrived about 3-5minutes later presented well. To be honest i looked in the burger and didn’t really think it was going to be special. YEP! I was sooooo WRONG... ooooo the chicken burger was making love to my mouth and surprised me with the combination of flavor it was giving me. I cant describe the flavor but if i had to it would be... eating a chicken burger but with a hint of big Mac sauce. I know its a crazy combo but hey im telling ya this burger killed nandos dry burgers. This burger earned my respect and i gave it a 9/10. Understand its just grilled chicken in a bun but the flavor wooooo! Yeah im loving it! I then proceeded to taste the wings which basically looked like chicken that had been washed and cleaned and then fried. I ate the wings but there was nothing really great about em apart from hearing the skin crunch as I devoured the wing itself however I guess with all the flavors in my mouth a bland wing werent bad but 3/10 i guessed ive tasted better wings in my life. Overall experience: 7/10 Mostly locals in the place which was great, i guess because it gives the food and venue validation. You could spot who were regulars and who came to drink only. Customer service: 6/10 The staff were good but were busy so when I wanted another drink i had to holler at a member if staff to bring me another drink. Value for : 9/10 Food overall: 7.5/10 Defo worth spending money here... i spent under 20 Euros and i was impressed... maybe before I leave imma have to have round two with that chicken burger! Popped in here and got the chicken burger, the hot and spicy chips and buffalo hotdog, the food was so tasty and extremely filling. Staff very welcoming and polite even with the language barrier. Will be back 100% (even got a takeaway for some friends) my poor camera work doesn't do any justice for just how good it is
