Não costumo comentar, mas não podia deixar de o fazer. Simplesmente excepcional!

This is the first restaurant we came across before walking up the Passadiços do Paiva and we were getting desperate to find a place to eat... Very simple restaurant but our naco frito com molho (Vinho Verde Porto wine mustard some chilly) was excellent. The meio litro of wine that came with our menu was OK.

My husband and I spent two nights at a B&B in Alvarenga and we were so glad we chose to eat at this little restaurant. The staff were amazing and so was the food! Their veal dish for two was definitely one of the best veal dishes we have ever eaten, and we would highly recommend the cod fritters for an appetizer. We enjoyed the people and the food here so much that we chose to eat here both nights during our stay in Alvarenga. We are from Canada and do not speak Portuguese, but it really wasn’t a problem at all as the wonderful waitresses here knew enough English to help us out.
