Contribuiți la feedbackWhen we were in the hotel, we decided to accompany them for their gastronomic evening. the food was delicious and the entertainment was amazing. so beautiful to be sung while it eats with a mix of music genres. the meal includes wein and is €70...very reasonable for what is included in the price. friendly attentive staff and smooth service professionally delivered.
Perfect for a romantic dinner in teneriffa. although there was only one vegetarian option on the menu, we asked if the cook could do something else for us and I got a wok that was incredible. the tofu in the wok was homemade and honest. one of the best tofu we tried. highly recommended to stop and the price was very fair.
My wife and I stayed in Sir Anthony for a night and decided to go for the half board option as it seemed like good value. The fact that there are no restrictions on what can be chosen from the menu is a big plus....Some other hotels aren't so kind. Being a five star hotel, we anticipated a high quality gastronomic experience... Unfortunately, what we got was average at best. To begin... I started with the crispy prawns however, the menu didn't specify the type of prawns served. Perhaps foolishly, I assumed that they would be king prawns. Be aware they are actually jumbo prawns... and pretty tasteless. They were served with a tzatziki dip which seemed out of place as it didn't go well with the prawns at all... It simply added to their blandness. They would have been much better served by a more lively accompaniment such as a sweet chilli sauce or a sharp aioli. To start, my wife had the fried mozzarella salad which was actually very good. The red fruit sauce, walnuts and onions made for a really nice combination. Onto the mains... I went for the stuffed poularde. The chicken was dry, the stuffing inside didn't work well and it was oddly served with a portion of rice that was quite bland. All in all it was edible but very disappointing. My wife went for the chargrilled entrecôte. I tried it and thought it was... okay. For me, the meat was overly salted and desperately needed a sauce to liven it up. However, my wife liked it more than I did. The puds... The desserts saved our culinary experience at Sir Anthony on this occasion... They were excellent. We fancied trying 4 of them so the chef kindly made up a sharing plate of mixed deserts. The particular standout was the Textures of cappuccino Although, the panna cotta, chocolate coulant and mascarpone timbale were also excellent. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. She lived up to the high standard of the hotel that delivers so brilliantly in many areas such as service, aesthetics and the wonderfully modern rooms/suites. it's just such a shame that the quality of the food couldn't tow the line. We would very happily stay in Sir Anthony again... but we won't be staying in for dinner.
For a special evening during a holiday this is highly recommended. it has this touch of class and professionalism that you expect when the cost a little over less fashionable place.
Excellent eating and very professional staff nothing too much annoyed and the whole atmosphere was warm and relaxing
