The Asian - Arona

Went to this restaurant with a group of friends as we were craving some good quality Chinese food. Found the food very average in comparison to many Chinese that we have had before. It was nice and we all managed to eat it all however wouldn't say it was anything special. The customer service on the other hand was terrible. The waitress very quiet and barely spoke so we struggled to communicate and on top of that she brought out all our food out at different times and there was about a 10 minute gap between the first plate being brought out and the last one. Then to make matters worst she then started to clear the table away whilst some of us were still eating, we had to ask her to stop clearing away as we found it really rude. Very quiet when we were in as well.

Called in here for a quick meal and delighted with the food and service. Looks like it is a family run restaurant and service couldn't have been friendlier. Food was extremely tasty and piping hot. Highly recommend.

Visited here twice with my teenage daughter, we were staying at the ole tropical hotel just across the road. We actually went in by mistake, we were looking for another Chinese my daughter had on her phone but must say it was a great mistake and a lucky one. It is not a fancy restaurant but the man who brought us in from outside trying to get customers was so nice and very welcoming he couldn’t do enough for us and the waiting staff were just as nice. The food was delicious the first night I had chicken and green pepper in black bean sauce, my daughter had the beef version and it was full of flavour and just the right portion size, the second night I went for chicken in chilli and garlic sauce, again this was amazing, my daughter went for the same as last time but just enjoyed it as much the second time, will definitely be returning here the next time I visit Tenerife. Enjoyed dinner one evening here with the family. Very nice atmosphere here with courteous and prompt service. The food turned out to be a bit too greasy but nevertheless was tasty and satisfying as you could actually taste all flavours from the dishes. Very reasonable prices also. I would certainly recommend this restaurant.

The waitress was fantastic, she appeared to be working on her own and was very busy and attentive, however the food just wasn't that great, it was OK but just didn't come close to any Chinese I've had in England
