The Christmas dec’s were being put up when I called during the afternoon lull and the Gold Bitter had just run dry but the Thwaites Original Bitter was possibly as good as I’ve ever had. Price per person: £1–10
Dropped in after a family walk. We received a really warm welcome and it's a dog friendly pub, even with our very large dog. The service was great and the food arrived quickly. Good portion size and very tasty. Both our boys managed a pudding and loved the hot brownie with ice cream. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
