Altes Backhaus - Arnsberg

Atmosphereous little hotel in old workhouse, next to old clock towers and top of the mountain. Personnel is kind and helpful. Rooms and bathroom dated, but clean and neat. Beds are fine. Hotel's own restaurant, but reservation is to recommend. The view from the terrace is beautiful. Especially in wintertime, the hotel and other houses in the village are atmospherely lighted. Christmas is fairy tales. Parking lot of the hotel is at a slight distance.

We stayed there today with a total of eleven people and we enjoyed it very well in the restaurant “Altes Backhaus”. Both the food and the service were all great, and the small guests were also taken care of. We like to come back!

Very nice place, very cozy. Although all tables occupied were a very friendly service, competent and fast. The back house Schnitzel was really good, a lush portion that blood sausages are different from I know them, but nicely served in the guss pan with delicious roast potatoes and rag vegetables. A good address!!!!
