Petersons Armidale Winery Guesthouse

An overnight stay booked directly from their website. We chose the romantic suite that seems to have a bit of history (is a bit of the old place smell), spacious and well maintained. The bathroom was massive with a bathtub and separate shower is clear glass, so we almost ran into it a few times! The king size bed was very comfortable, though a bit hot during sleep (there was a heat mat on the mattress that caught our body heat) and the TV was quite small. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the room and appreciated the complete service breakfast and the free bottle of wine included in the room price. The guest house is only 10 minutes drive from the city centre, so not too uncomfortable for sightseeing and food. Overall a nice stay and good value for money!

What a fantastic experience in this luxurious guest house. Everything about it was amazing and I will never forget my stay here. The terrain is breathtaking like the view. Dinner was amazing, like the care and attention of the wonderful staff. I can't wait to go back one day. The best place I've ever stayed by far.

If you like the old world style, try Petersons. Wine tasting twenty meters from your room is a plus for tired travelers. Not cheap, but for this special occasion.

Great staff, great food beautiful scenery and a winery to boot. The rooms and common areas possess an older Victorian style ambience. Rooms have enough heaters to use at your own discretion. Comfortable and clean beds, plenty of space as well. It was a pleasure staying here as I appreciated how conscious and caring the staff were plus seeming to remain behind the scenes until you need them. Plus the scenery was to die for
