Most humble dining experience we had in Portugal! Despite the language barrier, the family who runs this restaurant made us feel at home right away with the warmest smile. They even gave us a peak in their kitchen and of their grill plate and meats. We ordered the lamb chops en pork. The lamb meat was one of the best we’ve ever had; tender and fresh. Served with savoury brothy rice with beans. Meats and cheese as starters and the house special as dessert were wonderful as well, with a port wine. Red house wine (4,50 for a bottle) was delicious! Really felt part of their family! We spent 20 euros per person, with starter, wine, port wine an dessert. We left the place with our belly’s and our hearts full. Em um quarto pequeno, os visitantes são bem-vindos e servidos com educação e simpatia. uma boa surpresa, muito boa na relação qualidade preço. carne muito boa e bem cozinhada.

Excelente confeção. Comida típica portuguesa. Simpatia dos donos e funcionária. Higiéne presente. Gostei!

It was a fantastic evening at Manuela's restaurant! The people were so kind and Manuela even sang a Portugese fado song for us. Beside that, the food was very nice and of good quality. It was an evening we will never forget!

We found this place by luck, and it was more then a pleasant surprise . The food was excellent! I had the best stake I had in portugal , it was perfectly cooked and huge. My girlfriend ate vegetarian local dish that was also great. The hosts are extremely nice and they really cares that we will enjoy. The price was also pretty cheap for what you get we ate 2 first, 2 main , 2 desserts and a bottle of wine for 35 euros. We will definitely recommend it to any one spending the night in this area
