If you crave for homemade Italian Food, Osteria Trulli is a place to go. Family owned, very welcoming staff makes you feel cozy, intimate and warm. Big thanks to chef and owner Giovanni for hospitality and for accommodations to all my friends and family at any time, and for your creative hands. Your place rocks! I have been following Giovanni for almost 20 years, to all the locations of Trullo he had in Chicago n burns. There is no better place to go, when it comes to Italian cuisine. Each dish is prepared with deep thoughts and love. In addition, great wine selection from Italy and the best homemade Italian dessert!!!!!! Thumbs up my friend to you and your place!!!!

Absolutely delicious!! The best sauce I've ever had! Calamari was great and the margherita pizza was on point. The owner was gracious enough to meet us before we were leaving just to introduce himself!

I live about a five minute walk from this place, and it only took me about nine months to finally stop in. I am pretty sure that I will be visiting there once or twice a month. I had the Orecchiette con Ossa e Bracciole, which is Beef Sirloin Roulades simmered in neckbone Ragu, filled w/Pancetta, Parmesan, Garlic Parsley. It came with some kind of pasta on the side, and it was incredibly delicious. Their prices are not cheap. However, I am never concerned about price when the food is so good. I have never had the opportunity to 'hang out ' at any real Italian restaurant (having grown up in a small town , so it is my intention to properly learn how to dine the Italian way. I read reviews about the noise level, and all I can say is that this is not the place for a romantic tryst. This is a place to satisfy your pallet...A great place to dine with friends. I survived it all by myself. I did not feel out of place at all.

Eclectic decor in a small cozy space with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The branzini was good but the calamari and beef short rib was even better.

The eggplant was both unique and delicious. Probably the best I ever had. Great atmosphere and service.
