Lovely ambiance and food, i was impressed by the vegetarian selection of food here. Our server was really really nice. Food is not overpriced, this place is worth a visit

The restaurant was busy and quite noisy, but aside from that, the food was excellent and the service was outstanding. I really loved the steak and shrimp fajitas; however, the tortillas were a bit too small. The ceviche was tasty, but it resembled more of a shrimp cocktail than traditional ceviche. Overall, it's a nice place to eat if you're not bothered by the lively atmosphere.

On our recent visit, we attended a Day of the Dead-themed Tequila Pairing Dinner featuring cocktails made with 818 Tequila, expertly paired with unique dishes from Mago. These special dinners allow the chefs to showcase their creativity and offer us, the guests, the chance to enjoy truly one-of-a-kind meals that might not be available on the regular menu. Everything about this dinner was delightful, with every little detail thoughtfully planned to enhance the experience. Be sure to check out my pictures for a look at all the dishes. This is an outstanding Mexican grill and cantina. There's ample parking, a spacious dining area, a party room, and outdoor seating available. With great music, a friendly staff, and delicious food, this restaurant is a must-visit when you're in South Barrington.

Absolutely fantastic! Everything about this place—the food, the atmosphere, the drinks, and the service—is top-notch! The food was truly exceptional. My boyfriend remarked, “They’re giving Frontera a run for their money,” and I couldn't agree more!
