Denny's - Arlington Heights

It's a fat spoon stop. the employees are not so happy, so they have no friendly criminal with the server unless they want to mess their order. they have messed up my order, as I have a bad food restriction that messes me up, so I stressed that I cannot have sweeteners or sugary drinks. when I informed the server about it and I needed only water, it became passiw aggressiv to bring me a new tee that is not sweetened. now she brought out a sweet tee, sown in a dirty cup (dirty water). she even said she tasted it to make sure it wasn't sweet. I had a bad neck pain and fever of it when I tasted it just to find out she was messed with it. kinda messed up because we left a great tipp when we tried to eat something after a funny late night at a concert and feel very happy that we didn't want to finish the night. the place is dead and they didn't like us talking about living, people and the concert or joking. I think the image of a car through the building should have been a warning about what is to be expected, like it again a real fat spoon-stop environment. don't come here if you feel happy in life, because sad people don't like it. thetary restrictions: the unsweetened tee is only a less sugary tee. I had to order it twice as the first maissirup was in the south style and the second with which they were grounded when the cup was from the dirty basket and still sweet tee. So just get water.

The service here is ****. 4 breakfast ordered, 3 received. the server has forgotten to insert 1. all were almost finished before the 4th meal came. 3 times asked for water for the 4 of us, server only brought 2. had to ask another server for the coffee refill. we still complained for the forgotten meal. no sincerity in the apology. table opposite of us had the same experience, forget 1 meal on a 4 above. I don't know what the problem is here, but the server needs more training as you serve. I spent $60 on breakfast and we couldn't even eat together.

The cookies were a ****. it came extremely soggy and the engraving was absolutely not fresh. I also ordered the strawberry pancake balls or whatever they are called. that came burned, but I had to starve.

Daisy is by far one of the best service people I had the joy to wait on my table. they should be trained for others. she has absolutely a high degree of social intelligence. if she's not management, she should be.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. When we went in, we were greeted by a bit unfriendly host. He told us to choose where to seat then place the menus and silverware on the table like he was doing us a favor. Then, we waited for ten minutes before we left and after seeing them take other people's orders who arrived after us. This was our first and last time visiting this location. I guess we can go without Denny's for another few years as we did before as we didn't live near one. Btw, they weren't busy as there were plenty of tables and parking spaces available.
