Burger King - Arlington Heights

The drive-thru experience at this restaurant can be problematic, as I have twice left without my card. It seems that the woman working there intentionally holds onto customers' cards for too long, causing them to forget about retrieving it. When I returned to retrieve my card, she had to search through a pile of cards, suggesting that this may be a deliberate scheme. When making a payment at a fast food establishment, it is standard practice for the order taker to promptly return the card to the customer. In this case, the woman claimed that I had forgotten my card, which seemed suspicious to me. It appears that this may be a scam in disguise, so beware when using the drive-thru at this restaurant.

The food was not fresh and tasted terrible. It seemed like it was reheated from the previous day. Overall, it was a very negative dining experience.

The restaurant reheats pre-cooked fried items in the microwave instead of preparing them fresh. The food was limp and lacking in flavor. The staff at this establishment are exceptionally unmotivated.

I'm sorry, call it a bad mood, maybe I'm super hormonal, but this place is just god awful at getting orders correct. Not big orders. Two meal type of orders. And not ONCE has this place gotten it right. Tonight just broke the camels back. I burnt our stew that I was cooking all evening while distracted with helping my kiddo do her homework. My husband offered to run out. For me, he ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with no lettuce or tomato, and a sprite. They gave him a Dr Pepper and a regular crispy chicken sandwich with tons of lettuce and tomato. Literally the exact opposite of what I ordered. I just don't get it. It's really not that hard (and before anyone thinks I'm being judgmental or petty, I work in customer service, so I know what it means to get things right for customers). And it's not like it was the dinner rush, it was at 10 PM. He said the place was empty. So it's not like there was a huge rush and they were overwhelmed. I told him that they would get my order wrong, they always do no matter what it is. He didn't check and just drove home. Which is fine. It is what it is. I scraped the toppings off and added hot sauce, but the tomatoes and lettuce just make it all soggy and it's just unpleasant. I treat myself to something like this maybe once a month.... From now on I will literally drive the extra 10 min to the next closest Burger King, bc this place is just a royal mess.

Could all Burger Kings be like this Burger King? I drove through late at night and ordered my dinner. The lady who helped me was so friendly! The man who brought the food to the car was sweet and kind. The food was the freshest food I had at any Burger King in my entire life. Could every Burger King be like this one? Big thanks for a great experience even though it was close to closing time. I appreciated the smiles and positive vibes.
