Ice Cream Jubilee - Arlington

While the prices may be a little steep, the ice cream at this restaurant is excellent! The flavors are unique and incredibly delicious. In addition, Jess, who is an employee there, is extremely helpful, friendly, and patient.

The staff was incredibly friendly and polite. The ice cream was fantastic! They let me try a few flavors, but I ended up choosing banana bourbon.

I ordered an ice cream at this restaurant and it started melting within a minute. When I returned it, I was asked to pay for a new one. The manager was called over and claimed that I had already eaten half of the ice cream, so I would have to purchase a new one. I had only taken two bites of their thin waffle cone with one scoop of ice cream, but apparently that was considered half. Eventually, I was given the ice cream by another employee who must have realized how absurd the situation was. This was a bad value for the high price and an even worse customer experience.

This place has delicious ice cream novel flavors. You won't find run of the mill chocolate or vanilla here. Instead they have matcha green tea, marionberry with Graham crackers, and are always coming up with new, fun seasonal flavors.A single scoop can be pricey $5.95), but worth a treat every now then.I really like the matcha green tea. And today for national ice cream day, I got a free scoop chose blueberry pie with pie pieces in it. Yummy!You can buy pints here as well. I'd like to go here when it first opened but I have had several disappointing experiences since then so I don't plan on going there anymore. I don't like that now they make the cone before charging you, then expect you to hold the cone while you try to pay with one hand and not drop the cone or ice cream . Many smaller ice cream places have a stand for holding cones but Ice Cream Jubilee esckews anything that helpful. Yesterday I wanted to their Volcano Cookie Sundae which was supposed to include a chocolate chip cookie, hot fudge syrup, and hot caramel syrup. Of course, they were out of chocolate chip cookies and brownies so I had to settle for a ginger molasses cookie. The person who was making the sundae only put the ice cream on the cookie so I had to tell her to put the syrups on it. It was not worth the cost $10 . The cookie was stale and overwhelmed the ice cream flavors. I was still tasting it the cookie several hours later and it was not a good taste.
