Yume Sushi - Arlington

I always forget about this place, I'm not quite sure why... But they have great quality sushi for great value. If you get the Sushi Dinner (10 pc nigiri) for $48, they give you what you pay for. Scallop, salmon belly, yellowtail belly, and toro are among the expensive pieces. Their drinks on top of that, are always delicious. I think I've tried maybe two or three, all spectacular. I'm a sushi snob since sushi is one of my favorite foods. I think this is one of my top 3 places in NOVA for sushi in terms of value and quality.

The food was good, but not worth the price in my opinion. We went with a party of two and got three rolls and one appetizer and it came out to around $110. We were both still slightly hungry after. The rolls were good, but I wouldn't get the uni pasta again. I thought the noodles were quite bland. No issues with service and the ambiance of the restaurant was great. Perfect vibes for a romantic dinner.

Brought my friend here for her birthday after hearing wonderful reviews. We were greeted and sat right away. Loved the modern Japanese vibe. 3/5 Uni Pasta beautifulll dish and fresh uni, just lacking in flavor. 4/5 The Winner also beautiful and well plated. This was an expensive little treat. My friend's first time trying foie gras and she really enjoyed it. 5/5 Yume Roll my favorite roll of the night. Spicy tuna and avocado topped with seared tuna and jalapeno drizzled with spicy mayo and eel sauce and sprinkled tempura bits. 3/5 Salmon Lover yummy, fresh salmon. I personally don't like fruit on sushi so the mango tobiko sauce was too sweet for me. 5/5 Assorted Nigiri I prefer nigiri over rolls so these were right up my alley. All delicious and so fresh. 5/5 Toro Nigiri looove toro! The toro meltsss in your mouth. My favorite nigiri piece of the night! 5/5 Bird's Nest Honey Ginger Ice Cream my friend's complimentary birthday dessert not too sweet! Really liked the bird's nest for some texture. Overall, a great place for sushi. Would definitely come back!

I've been here twice and both times have been great. I ordered the miso butter scallop nigiris, spicy toro roll and sashimi dinner this time. Sashimi dinner included a generous portion of otoro and uni. Spicy toro roll was topped with a ton of uni and they were fresh and delicious! Miso butter scallop nigiris were fresh and flavorful. I'd definitely come back to try their tasting menu!

Epic sushi spot. Great location, parking can be a little bit of a headache depending on the day and time you come. There is also a seafood restaurant across the street. Yume is a cool place. Delicious cocktails. Awkward seating. I prefer to get a spot at the bar top where you can watch them make the sushi! The service can be a little slow but the sushi makes up for it.
